As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a government setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of the assigned location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. This position involves driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with site leadership and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
