As a Security Officer - - Armed Financial Site Patrol - Full Time in Lexington Park, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a valued member of Allied Universal, you will serve in an armed patrol role at a prominent financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This position is both an armed and driving post, requiring you to be alert and prepared while operating in and around the facility. You will also provide exceptional customer service, fostering positive interactions and clear communication with everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter of financial institution locations, observing for suspicious activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
• Follow all protocols for armed positions, maintaining awareness of surroundings and proper handling of assigned equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training related to security-related procedures and emergency response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local laws.
• Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
