As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal in a retail and mall environment, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for visitors, employees, and tenants. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, being a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. This post is primarily driving, allowing you to cover a wide area efficiently and stay engaged throughout your shift. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with the public, and work closely with your team to support a positive environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site protocols.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and addressing any security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance or information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements; this is primarily a driving post.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
