As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities involve monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, address inquiries, and respond to security-related incidents as needed. Your visible presence at the front desk will help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff at the front desk, providing customer service in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials, helping to maintain authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and/or incident reports as required by the site.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
• Support security-related procedures and protocols relevant to an educational environment, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
