As a Security Professional - Armed Retail Site - Full Time in Universal City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere at a busy retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. In this armed and driving role, you will be entrusted with upholding high standards of professionalism while interacting with the public, offering exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with team members and visitors alike. You will embody Allied Universal's values by working collaboratively, demonstrating reliability and integrity, and putting people first as you contribute to a secure and positive environment for all who visit and work at the location.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail setting to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other prohibited activities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, suspicious activity, or hazards according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
