Job Description


As a Security Professional - CRE Unarmed Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be a visible presence at a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming environment for all visitors and tenants. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, monitoring assigned areas, and responding to situations as they arise. You will use your strong communication skills to interact with individuals on site, address questions, and provide clear information. By maintaining a consistent presence, you will contribute to a secure and professional atmosphere. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or violations of site policies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees at the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
  • Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
