As a Security Officer - Residential Site - Overnight Shift in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for a residential location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and being a reliable presence for residents and visitors. You will respond to security-related situations as they arise, provide clear communication, and deliver exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. This position values your ability to use technology such as computers or tablets, as well as your experience with alarm panels and customer service. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with local authorities and providing assistance to residents and staff as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
