As a Security Professional Unarmed Media Patrol in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related situations that may arise. You will also provide exceptional customer service, assisting employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and clear communication. This role offers the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of people while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to support your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the ongoing operations at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual circumstances.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as needed in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
