As a Security Officer Chemical Badge Specialist in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting security-related operations at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter unauthorized entry and incidents. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals onsite. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required as you may be tasked with patrolling various areas throughout the property. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the chemical or petrochemical facility, verifying identification and credentials of personnel, contractors, and visitors.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the location.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregular or unusual conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance concerns observed during shifts.
• Assist emergency response teams as directed during drills or real events, following established protocols for the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license in the job state and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
