As a Security Officer Chemical Facility Patrol in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also interact with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a positive experience for everyone on site. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor for unusual activity or hazardous conditions specific to a chemical or petrochemical environment, and report findings as required.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and/or actions taken during patrols and while on post.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and concerns.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and guidelines relevant to the chemical or petrochemical industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
• Valid driver's license required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
