As a Security Guard - Healthcare Site - Weekdays in Ukiah, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to create a secure and welcoming environment at a dynamic healthcare location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will also use your communication skills to respond to inquiries and assist with various security-related needs, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with medical staff and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or other urgent situations as directed by site leadership.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, patients, staff, and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
