As a Security Professional - Chemical Plant - Evening Shift in Niagara Falls, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a chemical or petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to support a sense of security, and responding to various situations with professionalism and care. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor for unusual activity or concerns and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders as required for incidents or drills.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, observations, and incidents encountered during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
