As a Security Professional with Allied Universal assigned to a government location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. This position allows you to remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service while supporting security-related protocols. You will interact with visitors, staff, and contractors, assisting them with inquiries and helping to address any concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and staff with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Support emergency response efforts by following Allied Universal and client protocols during drills and real incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any access control breaches.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
