As a Security Professional - Financial Site - Morning Shift in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be a key presence at a prominent financial institution location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and clients. You will be counted on to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and support a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity within the facility.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and visitors, offering assistance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
