As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for a large distribution center within the retail sector. In this access control post, your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of personnel and visitors, verify credentials, and monitor entry and exit points using both technology and physical presence. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Your ability to communicate clearly and interact professionally with staff and visitors will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall security-related efforts of the location. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and other relevant occurrences.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
