In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols of the premises. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the location in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and security-related incidents.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique requirements of the logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in daily reports and/or logs as required by site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
