As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Allied Universal team member assigned to an access control post in a dynamic food and beverage production environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all employees, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will involve monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide exceptional customer service and communication, supporting a positive experience for everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain site-specific protocols.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other crisis situations.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and maintain a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
