As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will be expected to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will have the opportunity to interact with employees and visitors, respond to various situations, and communicate important information as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions in a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Monitor access points and check identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as necessary.
• Remain alert to potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical locations and follow all site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
