As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This is an armed position, requiring you to carry and maintain appropriate credentials while performing your duties. You will interact with employees and visitors, respond to incidents, and support a positive atmosphere where people feel valued. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
• Remain alert to surroundings and promptly report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
