As a Security Officer - Museum Entry Monitor in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent cultural institution. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting guests and staff with professionalism and courtesy. You will be counted on to provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly to situations as they arise, and communicate clearly with both visitors and your team. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor visitor and staff activity to help maintain order and compliance with location policies.
• Report and document any unusual or suspicious activity observed during patrols or while on post.
• Support the protection of property, exhibits, and assets by following established protocols and guidelines specific to cultural institution environments.
• Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
