As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the facility, staying highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will work closely with site staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter areas within a chemical or petrochemical location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor and report any irregular conditions or potential hazards observed during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
• Assist with access control by observing and reporting on entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
