As a Security Professional - Access Control in Avon, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage production location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors and employees. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and support a positive atmosphere for everyone on site. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the facility, remain attentive to any unusual activity, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and a helpful attitude. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting designated areas within the facility.
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors regarding access procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access violations.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activity, or security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during emergency response activities.
• Maintain a high level of customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and guidelines specific to a food and beverage production environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
