As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a pivotal role in helping to create a secure environment at a bustling retail location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for visitors, shoppers, and staff. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service with clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any irregularities.
• Collaborate with store management and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
