As a Security Officer - Media Patrol - Weekdays in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control within a dynamic tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, responding promptly to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all employees and visitors. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming and secure atmosphere by upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
• Verify credentials and permissions of individuals entering or exiting the premises as part of access control procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
