As a Security Officer - Media Site Patrol in Garner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team supporting a leading organization in the tech, media, and telecom industry, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter potential security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for all. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help promote a sense of security, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This role may involve driving duties, allowing you to actively support the overall security-related operations across different locations. Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
