As a Security Officer - Healthcare Rounds in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting with incident response as needed. You will interact with a diverse range of people, utilizing your strong communication skills and customer service mindset to provide guidance and support. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to enforce site-specific protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and healthcare staff during emergency situations by following established procedures and providing guidance as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
