As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Site - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure atmosphere within a dynamic retail environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will interact with both staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. This armed post requires you to demonstrate reliability, agility, and a caring approach as you support a positive experience for everyone at the location. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities within the retail environment.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Interact professionally with store staff, customers, and/or visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards and maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with emergency situations, including evacuations or medical incidents, by following established procedures and supporting first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
