As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help reduce potential risks, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for security-related concerns and unusual activity.
• Interact professionally with patrons, staff, and visitors, offering assistance and information when needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and interactions according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during critical situations.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behavior within the retail environment.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
