As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Full Time in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a welcoming and secure environment within a bustling retail and mall location. Your primary responsibilities will involve regularly patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with visitors, tenants, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address inquiries and assist with directions or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and site management to address security-related matters and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and guiding visitors as appropriate within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
