As a Security Guard - Unarmed Post - Full Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for a well-known retail location. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to visitors and staff. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing inquiries or concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail location and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with controlling access to the location and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for potential theft or policy violations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with company and client standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post; a valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
