As a Security Guard - Retail Site - Full Time in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a positive experience for guests and tenants at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to provide a reassuring presence, and responding promptly to incidents or requests for assistance. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, using strong communication skills to interact with visitors, staff, and vendors. This position also requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Help to deter incidents by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including both interior and exterior areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities and/or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Support emergency response efforts and assist local authorities as needed during incidents.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports according to Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
