As a Security Guard - Logistics Site - Full Time in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting the security-related needs of a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and interacting with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. You will be expected to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with others, always upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
  • Monitor the logistics and distribution environment for any unusual activity and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations as required by site and company procedures.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
