As a Security Guard Front Desk Patrols in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your role is pivotal in helping to create a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring access points, managing visitor logs, and responding to security-related inquiries or incidents with professionalism and a customer-focused approach. You will utilize your communication skills to provide guidance and support, while maintaining a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, signing in guests, and maintaining visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with the enforcement of location policies, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and guests to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter disruptive behavior and/or security-related concerns.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or maintenance issues according to Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
