As a Security Professional -- Luxury Retail Site - Full Time in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a prestigious retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting guests and staff with professionalism and courtesy. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service while responding to situations calmly and efficiently. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or client representatives.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and providing directions as needed.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting professionally with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
