As a Security Officer Mall Unarmed Patrol in Manhattan Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a bustling retail or mall location. Your responsibilities will include regularly patrolling assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing top-tier customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. This position involves driving as part of your duties, so you will be responsible for safely navigating the premises as you monitor all areas. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, trespassing, or unusual behavior, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as required by site protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to provide a visible presence and help to deter potential issues within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and applicants must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
