As a Security Patrol Officer - Financial Site in San Mateo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and serving as a reassuring presence for employees and visitors alike. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related situations, provide clear communication, and deliver outstanding customer service at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures and verify identification when required.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with first responders as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
