As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help deter unauthorized access and potential security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any unusual incidents, observations, or violations of site policies.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment in accordance with client expectations and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
