As a Security Officer - Commercial Site - Front Desk - Full Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and staff, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access control systems, managing visitor and employee badges, and responding to alarms as needed. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to document incidents and maintain detailed records, all while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. By maintaining a visible presence at the front desk, you will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a positive environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and manage visitor and contractor check-in and check-out processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, communicating clearly with building management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Support building operations by answering inquiries, providing directions, and assisting with general information requests at the front desk.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing building entrances and exits.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panel systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
