As a Security Officer - Aero Site in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a location within the aerospace and defense industry. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related situations and support access control measures, all while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding any incidents or concerns.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while performing duties at the aerospace and defense location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
