As a Security Professional Retail Patrol Full-Time in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to engage with the public and help to deter security-related incidents in a dynamic retail and mall environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to visitors, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the assigned location.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as needed.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when necessary to address security-related incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Support a welcoming environment for tenants, customers, and visitors by providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
