As a Security Professional - Telecom Facility in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading technology location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to all those on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports on observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and support a positive environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
