As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for residents and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the community to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible to provide reassurance and exceptional customer service, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and care. This position requires driving as part of your duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter security-related issues and/or report concerns.
• Document activities, observations, and any incidents in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management, addressing questions and/or concerns as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
