As a Security Professional - Telecom Site Screener in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a SCREENER in the Tech, Media, and Telecom location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for everyone on site. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. By providing outstanding customer service and clear communication, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, contributing to a positive atmosphere. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with screening individuals entering the location in alignment with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns in a professional manner.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items by following established screening protocols.
• Document and report any irregularities or incidents according to company and client guidelines.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any potential concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed in accordance with Allied Universal training and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
