Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual behavior, potential hazards, or unauthorized individuals and report findings according to company and site-specific procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and/or students.
• Operate and carry authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications related to armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
