As a Security Officer Armed Government Patrol in Lake Charles, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and staying highly visible throughout the premises. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to those on site. You will be responsible for responding promptly to situations as they arise, addressing concerns with professionalism and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while armed, following all applicable protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas.
• Document observations and incidents according to established procedures and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or potential threats within the location and respond appropriately based on training and established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
