As a Security Officer - Industrial Site - Afternoon Shift in Duncan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout the facility. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to those on site. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while monitoring access points and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the facility.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed in accordance with site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of patrol activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
