As a Unarmed Security Officer - Retail Site in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Security Professional with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will play a key role in access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors, employees, and merchandise. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with customers and staff, providing exceptional customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at retail locations.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals, verifying identification as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or customers to address questions and provide information related to access control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
