As a Security Professional - Unarmed Post - Full Time in Sarasota, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment at a vibrant cultural institution. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, observing activity throughout the location, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with a diverse community and offer assistance as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a welcoming environment for guests.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to help support the security-related needs of the location.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help manage the flow of visitors and staff as needed.
• Collaborate with location staff to address concerns and provide information regarding security-related procedures or site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
