As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and offering exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will interact with visitors and staff, assist with access control, and use technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and observing entry points.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to support a positive environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and observations.
• Follow all Allied Universal guidelines, as well as client-specific procedures, while on post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
