As a Armed Security Guard - Financial Facility - Weekdays in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a financial institution environment. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the assigned location, remaining visible and approachable while providing outstanding customer service to clients, visitors, and staff. Your presence helps to create a secure atmosphere, and you will be responsible for responding to incidents, documenting activities, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a financial institution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or identification as needed for entry into restricted areas.
• Support emergency response efforts, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Having a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
